One of my favorite “green” blogs, Inhabitat , posted an article about New York getting it’s first solar electric vehicle charging station. I’ve seen electric cars before and even ones that charged off of solar but this particular package suggests what’s right on so many different levels that I just had to post about it here too. I sat down to watch a little TV and spotted an episode of Top Gear, one of my favorite shows, had been recorded on my DVR. It was an episode I had never seen before so I would have watched it anyway but this particular episode was absolutely EPIC!

We’ve lived with a Sony Playstation 3 in our house for just over a year now and I think that’s enough time that I am pretty certain about what I think Sony did right with this version… and what they got wrong!

On any other forum those words would be considered trolling to start a flame war and the about.com post titled “GIMP: Like it or Lump it?” had some pretty strong opinions in the comments section and mine, which follows below, was one of them

2010 is finally here! I remember being a teenager in high school and doing mental calculations of how old I would be at certain points in time; 2010 was one of them! Man, it seemed so far away at the time too…
My resolution, specifically, is to make a small donation each month to a free/open source software project or service, and of course to blog about it here! I haven’t thought it out much and I kind of like the idea of picking one each month on the fly, so to speak, but my list will definitely include at least the following:
